Michael Siddall : Program Director

Micheal is an Anusara Yoga® teacher who has been studying and teaching for the past 18 years. He holds an International Iyengar Yoga certification. Since 2004, Micheal has been studying Anusara Yoga exclusively with John Friend, the founder of this great system of Yoga.

Michael is a caring teacher who focuses on developing alignment, strength and technique in his students’ asana practice, allowing them to be comfortable and safe in postures so they can begin to explore the benefits of their yoga practice at a deeper level. He brings a sense of humour to his teaching in the belief that the practice of yoga should be fun and enjoyable. Michael studied with various senior teachers in Canada, the U.S. and Europe as well as with B.K.S. Iyengar in India.

Jesse Enright: Anatomy, Therapeutics

Jesse’s teaching style combines deep breath work, powerful flowing movements and meticulous alignment with a fun and lighthearted approach. He emphasizes anatomical education to both empower and instill in students a love and respect for the amazing design of the human body.

Jesse has been a student of hatha yoga for fifteen years and a full time yoga instructor for the past twelve. He has studied and practiced under senior instructors in India, Australia, Canada and the U.S. He was a full-time instructor at the Downward Dog Yoga Centre for five years and completed their teacher training and apprenticeship program in 2000.

Jesse has completed additional teacher training programs in Vijnana Yoga with Gioia Irwin and Yoga Therapeutics with Doug Keller, trained in Craniosacral Therapy and is certified in the Muscle, Balance and Function system of biomechanical re-education. He has developed extensive curriculum and taught alignment and anatomy for teacher training programs since 2003. Jesse is a senior instructor and Yoga Therapist at Octopus Garden.

June Bradley: Chakras

June’s teaching style flows from the ancient tradition of classical Hatha Yoga. She has practiced and loved yoga since 1970. She trained to receive her Yoga Instructor’s certification in 1977-78 and then went on for further Yoga Instructor’s certification from 1987-89. She is a registered member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

As a social worker, June has run an innovative and successful private practice since 1995. Her focus is with the integration of mind, body and spirit to promote a holistic experience of healing. June blends body-centred psychotherapy with yoga therapy and her training as a medical intuitive to enhance the client’s understanding of where they have come from, where they are now, and where they are going.

Kiran Sohal: Philosophy, Meditation

Kiran has a professional background in Human Resources and IT Recruitment, and as of 2001 has been teaching yoga on a full-time basis in Toronto. As a Certified Yoga Instructor in Ashtanga, Kripalu, and Hatha yoga, Kiran has been actively teaching within the corporate, health, and fitness sector for the past 10 years. As a volunteer for the Art of Living, a global non-profit educational and humanitarian organization, Kiran taught Youth Empowerment programs in schools and spent a year in Manitoba working with at-risk youth from the inner-cities. Kiran is also a Certified Stott Pilates Instructor and is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Hinduism at the University of Toronto.
